Who am I? Where am I? Why am I blogging?

These are the questions that haunt my About page and I intend to bust them out in style.

I am a college student living in Dubai by day and also by night. When I’m not busy wrapping my head around complex electronic circuits and transmission signals, I play video games, dabble in graphic design, write creatively, read obnoxiously and watch enough TV shows and movies to write on a blog about them.

I blog because I want to share my opinions, views and works with the world. When I was a kid and newly introduced to the Internet, I started my escapades on the web by joining online forums. I had learned early on in my life that opinions are important to people and that having one meant knowing who you are. Years down the line, I’m still on that path to self-discovery and I doubt I’ll be stopping anytime soon.

Q. What kind of games do you play and what’s your current most played game?
A. I play all sorts of games really. From FPS to RTS, rogue-like indie games to 3rd person adventures. I’ll be posting reviews of games I play from time to time and make sure that I don’t leave out any one genre of gaming. My most played game right now is DOTA 2.

Q. What are your favorite TV shows, books and movies?
A. I hate answering questions that ask me to pick an absolute. I intend to come up with a top favorites list in no particular order some day and when I do, I’ll post it here.

Q. Okay, calm down. Name a few TV shows that you’re following right now.
A. That’s more reasonable. Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Hannibal, Sherlock, Helix, Arrow, The Flash, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Satisfaction are a few off the top of my head.

Q. Can I ask a question?
A. No, these questions are supposed to be from nobody.

Q. Do I know you from somewhere?
A. Probably not. Unless you frequent a ton of old, defunct gaming, graphic design and general topic community boards.

Q. What is the Gallery of Awesome? And why?
A. The GoA is a gallery of photographs of awesome things I have collected on my phone. Most of them will be things that I own or have owned in the past. Why? Because I’m a horrible person.
